Spectators: 7054 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camille Reynaert started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Lewicki in the 7th minute of play forced Odra Opole's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Odra Opole getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Konstanty Jaszyna hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Barnaba Roman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Odra Opole getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Daevy Van der Meiren hit a great ball. Mieszko Skaradowski, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Olaf Raflewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabien Barthez was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Camille Reynaert didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 21st minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Camille Reynaert ran dejectedly back to his position. Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Raflewski in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Barniszke threw the ball into play from the sideline. Odra Opole's Daevy Van der Meiren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 31st minute Camille Reynaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kornica SA getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Radomil Indyk hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Camille Reynaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odra Opole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Reynaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Camille Reynaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camille Reynaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Herbert Zahemski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radomil Lewicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Kornica SA's Olaf Raflewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabien Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Camille Reynaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Damian Kilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camille Reynaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Zbyszko Olender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Zahemski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Reynaert in the 68th minute of play. Herbert Zahemski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Golembiewski in the 69th minute of the match. Camille Reynaert struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Herbert Zahemski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odra Opole. Camille Reynaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Herbert Zahemski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Odra Opole's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mieszko Skaradowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Kornica SA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mieszko Skaradowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Barthez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Camille Reynaert took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Zahemski. Herbert Zahemski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Olaf Raflewskis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Fabien Barthez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camille Reynaert in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Zahemski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Walery Golembiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camille Reynaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camille Reynaert in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Zahemski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Korneliusz Barniszke in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Odra Opole's Ulryk Barna. Although Odra Opole had been in control for most of the match, Kornica SA still came away with the win.
