After 21 played minutes Pogoń 1945 Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Turek. 23 minutes into the match, Pogoń 1945 Staszów's goalkeeper Mariusz Sebzda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zachariasz Bobrowski. Mariusz Sebzda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofil Wallach in the 24th minute. When Norbert Falk came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Goliszów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Falk couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Pogoń 1945 Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Falk came free, but Mariusz Sebzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norbert Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Kosmatka's late challenge caught a Pogoń 1945 Staszów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pogoń 1945 Staszów players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
