The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomasz Ruzicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Rus Opole's Stasio Kensicki got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, ŻoŻo's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Ankiewicz came free, but Alvise Facchini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Chludzinski charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Chludzinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Grzegorz Ankiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, ŻoŻo's Zbyszko Wisniewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomir Gall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Zbyszko Wisniewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rus Opole's Ludomir Gall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvise Facchini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Ankiewicz in the 20th minute of play. When ŻoŻo's Tomasz Ruzicki in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rus Opole's goalie prevented a goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ludomir Gall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Slawomir Lukasik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvise Facchini. ŻoŻo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ludomir Gall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Ruzicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tomasz Ruzicki didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 45th minute. ŻoŻo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Ankiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludomir Gall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Ruzicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Corneliu Şchiopu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Stasio Kensicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rus Opole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Kensicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvise Facchini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Ankiewicz in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Ruzicki in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludomir Gall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tomasz Ruzicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Gall was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Rus Opole's Lucjan Kaczorowski got a free kick in the 75th minute. Grzegorz Ankiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Alvise Facchini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ludomir Gall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Wisniewski in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomasz Ruzicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Gall was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Corneliu Şchiopu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludomir Gall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Ruzicki went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the ŻoŻo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
