The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zoltán Radics recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Noteć Łabiszyn booed when Podlasie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Wrzosek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szczepan Rozanski charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Rozanski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Noteć Łabiszyn's Szczepan Rozanski got a free kick in the 18th minute. Wincent Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Franciszek Golec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Cezary Zywiec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Kendra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Zoltán Radics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Golec was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Wincent Gdowik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noteć Łabiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Gdowik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Golec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Izydor Dylla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franciszek Golec was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Wincent Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Noteć Łabiszyn's Wincent Gdowik got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Radics was the one to do the kick off. Franciszek Golec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Radics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Kacper Huchro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Podlasie's Franciszek Golec got control of the ball when Zoltán Radics tried to sneak it across the goal line. Izydor Dylla took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franciszek Golec. Franciszek Golec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Noteć Łabiszyn's Wincent Gdowik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franciszek Golec. That made the score 1-3 after 63 minutes of play. Zoltán Radics who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Franciszek Golec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franciszek Golec made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Zoltán Radics sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Podlasie's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Gdowik came free, but Franciszek Golec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Rozanski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Waldemar Kendra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Huchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Kacper Huchro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noteć Łabiszyn's Waldemar Kendra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Podlasie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szczepan Rozanski was slow to take the kick. During this time Noteć Łabiszyn's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Wincent Gdowik advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 86th minute. 89 minutes in the game, Wincent Gdowik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Franciszek Golec having to interfere. With a little luck, Podlasie's Franciszek Golec got control of the ball when Zoltán Radics tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wincent Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noteć Łabiszyn played a much better game than Podlasie and deserved their victory. The Podlasie players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
