In the 44th minute, Witomir Hejza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugeniusz Kicia. The goal made the score 5-1. If Ksawery Pstrongowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boruc Charlos to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Zawisza Bydgoszcz defense, Witomir Hejza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Kicia. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugeniusz Kicia should have stopped the shot. Eugeniusz Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Dziewulski in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Adam Pryla got a free kick in the 91st minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wanaty SSA had played much better football throughout.
