The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute of the match Edward Lizewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jurand Marajda skillfully saved the ball. If Zygmunt Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ZZKS Sośnica booed when WKS Kokotek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Golob didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Gdowik in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szymon Dembowski saved WKS Kokotek from getting behind. A collision led to ZZKS Sośnica getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cyryl Prosowski hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Plaski made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Michal Pawelczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurand Marajda was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Zygmunt Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, WKS Kokotek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Poremba to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, WKS Kokotek's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Gdowik came free, but Szymon Dembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, WKS Kokotek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Balonek to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in WKS Kokotek's zone, Ludomil Brzeszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szymon Dembowski came out of the goal and Ludomil Brzeszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Pawelczyk in the 73rd minute of play forced ZZKS Sośnica's goalkeeper Jurand Marajda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Gdowik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Nieuzyla during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, WKS Kokotek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Nieuzyla to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored WKS Kokotek's protests and gave Grzegorz Balonek a yellow card for diving instead. ZZKS Sośnica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
