With a little luck, Manchester City's Aake Ellesøe got control of the ball when Witold Zdanowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes, Bernard Golaszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City and the Wielkie Joł players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Edward Niezywy fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester City's protests and gave Edward Niezywy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Edward Niezywy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Mochadlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Golaszewski in the 18th minute of the match. Sylwester Mochadlo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Bernard Golaszewski. But to his dismay, Bernard Golaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aake Ellesøe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Przebendowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Napoleon Mazurkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Mochadlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Wielkie Joł got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Przebendowski. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Napoleon Mazurkiewicz made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Barnaba Kosel managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Mochadlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aake Ellesøe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Kaczanek in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Wielkie Joł booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Charlap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wielkie Joł's Sylwester Mochadlo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wielkie Joł from getting a goal against them. Yanis Montens charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Klement Charlap hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Manchester City defense, Wit Tyszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aake Ellesøe. The Manchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aake Ellesøe should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wielkie Joł had won after a very even match.
