Stefan Pryla started the match with the kick off. Stefan Piechocki kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kryspin Dziewulski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Pryla in the 5th minute. Jutrzenka Zakopane's Krzysztof Kendra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Dropinski in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Kuligów booed when Jutrzenka Zakopane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Gierlach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes, Kuligów's Szczepan Mentus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krzysztof Kendra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kuligów reached it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Olgierd Puszynski put in a rough tackle. 11 minutes into the game, one of Jutrzenka Zakopane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kuligów a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zbyszek Rekowski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jutrzenka Zakopane's Krzysztof Kendra. 0-1. Krzysztof Kendra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Maurycy in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Szczepan Rozanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Kendra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Maurycy's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Pawel Harasimowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kryspin Dziewulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Harasimowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Szczepan Rozanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Pawel Gierlach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kryspin Dziewulski. Kuligów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pawel Gierlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Rozanski in the 39th minute of play forced Kuligów's goalkeeper Kryspin Dziewulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Harasimowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kryspin Dziewulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pawel Gierlach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Dziewulski having to make a save. Jacek Dropinski's late challenge caught a Jutrzenka Zakopane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Dropinski helped the player get up and apologised. Kuligów's Kryspin Dziewulski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Kuligów from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cyprian Borowski made the kick off in the second half. Szczepan Rozanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Dziewulski having to interfere. If Waclaw Hejza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pawel Harasimowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Kuligów's Leonard Maurycy got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleksander Degutis kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Zbyszek Rekowski, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Szczepan Rozanski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kryspin Dziewulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jutrzenka Zakopane. 74 minutes into the match, Jutrzenka Zakopane's Pawel Harasimowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kryspin Dziewulski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Pawel Gierlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jutrzenka Zakopane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Gierlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kryspin Dziewulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Harasimowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Waclaw Hejza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Dziewulski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pawel Harasimowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Dziewulski having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Cyprian Borowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krzysztof Kendra, 2-2.
