The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sylwester Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Porajewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Gorlau's Bartosz Maruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gorlau's Wincenty Hatman got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gorlau's zone, Jan Logewnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dombroski came out of the goal and Jan Logewnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maksymilian Kosel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Dombroski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Logewnik in the 23rd minute of play. Tomasz Dombroski made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jan Logewnik sent off a good shot on target. Jan Logewnik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tomasz Dombroski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartosz Maruda in the 36th minute of play forced FC Orion Komorowice's goalkeeper Sylwester Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomil Oleszak during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Radomil Oleszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gorlau's zone, Jan Logewnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dombroski came out of the goal and Jan Logewnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maksymilian Kosel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomasz Dombroski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maksymilian Kosel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Dombroski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gorlau's Herbert Kociniewski got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maksymilian Kosel to make the kick off. If Maksymilian Kosel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute Maksymilian Kosel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Logewnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Dombroski having to interfere. Gorlau's Tomasz Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Kosel in the 64th minute of play. Tomasz Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Kosel in the 72nd minute of the match. Sylwester Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Porajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Wolnik kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Maksymilian Kosel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Orion Komorowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Kosel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Dombroski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Wolnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasz Dombroski was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The supporters of Gorlau booed when FC Orion Komorowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Raflewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartosz Maruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylwester Kiszkiel having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Bartosz Maruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sylwester Kiszkiel. FC Orion Komorowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartosz Maruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 94 played minutes FC Orion Komorowice got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Wolnik. 95 minutes into the game Lukasz Bakes kicked a great long shot which passed Sylwester Kiszkiel straight ahead into the goal, Result 0-2. One couldn't see Lukasz Bakes behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gorlau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
