Spectators: 4500 (Terracing: 3500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edward Bentkowski made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Pankowski in the 7th minute of play forced KS Sobieszów's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Rzentkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunthen SA's Napoleon Maruda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tymoteusz Rzentkowski. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Jaroslaw Labus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunthen SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Labus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leszek Pankowski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gunthen SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Pankowski couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes KS Sobieszów got a freekick which was hit by Witold Jestrimski. In the 22ndth minute of the game Napoleon Maruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Sobieszów's Tymoteusz Rzentkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunthen SA's Napoleon Maruda was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 31st match minute, KS Sobieszów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Majczyk to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Maruda in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tymoteusz Rzentkowski saved KS Sobieszów from getting behind. After a rather tough play, KS Sobieszów's Miroslaw Wolnik got a free kick in the 36th minute. Napoleon Maruda struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tymoteusz Rzentkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunthen SA. Napoleon Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Dariusz Domin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunthen SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Domin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Napoleon Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Napoleon Maruda made the kick off in the second half. Jaroslaw Labus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslaw Labus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tymoteusz Rzentkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The Gunthen SA fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Gunthen SA's Napoleon Maruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute, Adam Okopny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of KS Sobieszów booed when Gunthen SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Konieczny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Pankowski charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leszek Pankowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Leszek Pankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Wojciech Hetman managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when KS Sobieszów's Adam Okopny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gunthen SA's Jaroslaw Labus got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Napoleon Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Napoleon Maruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tymoteusz Rzentkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Napoleon Maruda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute of the match Zbigniew Majczyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wojciech Hetman skillfully saved the ball. Tymoteusz Rzentkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Pankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napoleon Maruda in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tymoteusz Rzentkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tymoteusz Rzentkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Maruda in the 88th minute of the match. Napoleon Maruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymoteusz Rzentkowski having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gunthen SA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
