The audience was convinced that Berkin Çoğa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vern Gobey was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Radowit Turok was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Aleksander Lato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aleksander Lato really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastian Cupial the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Skalniak protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastian Cupial had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 91 minutes into the game, one of Skalniak:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
