Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LECH POZNAŃ's Aureliano Sergi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. LECH POZNAŃ's Stasio Bykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Kapinos in the 9th minute of play. Leon Mietus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Bykowski having to interfere. If Aureliano Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Zarzekowice booed when LECH POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Dranka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wlodzimierz Tobaczewski sped through Zarzekowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Wrzosek. A collision led to LECH POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Szymon Piechna hit a great ball. Milosz Marchewka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julian Wrzosek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Zarzekowice got a freekick which was hit by Filip Dudek.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Budacz made a kick off. In the 55th minute Aureliano Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Wrzosek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes LECH POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Klucznik. Barnaba Glaza kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Aureliano Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Wrzosek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Lesiecki hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Marchewka got free with Julian Wrzosek in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, LECH POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Dudek came free, but Stasio Bykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Wrzosek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Sergi in the 73rd minute of play. Filip Dudek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Zarzekowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Kaminski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zarzekowice's Pawel Budacz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Stasio Bykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Kapinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, LECH POZNAŃ's Aureliano Sergi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Wrzosek. Julian Wrzosek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Marchewka got free with Julian Wrzosek in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Dudek in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasio Bykowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pawel Budacz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stasio Bykowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Zarzekowice's Pawel Budacz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stasio Bykowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
