Ks Szamotuły's Jan Wasikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Piatek in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Barnaba Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kierzki SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Piatek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Wasikowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Wasikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Felenak in the 14th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zachariasz Winszman sped through Kierzki SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaw Lewandowski. The supporters of Kierzki SSA booed when Ks Szamotuły was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Nigbor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ks Szamotuły's goalkeeper Jan Wasikowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Wierzcholek. Jan Wasikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Piatek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Wierzcholek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Jan Wasikowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, Ks Szamotuły's goalkeeper Jan Wasikowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Wierzcholek. Boguslaw Wierzcholek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Wasikowski having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Ks Szamotuły's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Brodzki came free, but Jan Wasikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kierzki SSA's Boguslaw Wierzcholek got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Ks Szamotuły was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Zatorski to maneuver through the defense. Barnaba Piatek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jan Wasikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Winszman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Lewandowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ks Szamotuły's zone, Boguslaw Wierzcholek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wasikowski came out of the goal and Boguslaw Wierzcholek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boguslaw Wierzcholek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jan Wasikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Piatek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Wasikowski was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
