In the 10th minute Bogdan Bryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Zacharzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bryk in the 14th minute of play forced GKS Górnik Łęczna's goalkeeper Zula Zacharzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KS Karkonosze 1953's Antara Bal got a free kick in the 16th minute. Bogdan Bryk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zula Zacharzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Bryk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zula Zacharzewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Bogdan Bryk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Roch Matela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Zula Mitus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Górnik Łęczna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Karkonosze 1953 the free kick. After 32 minutes of play, GKS Górnik Łęczna's Amador Lopez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roch Matela was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Krzysztof Pozorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kajetan Bury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zula Zacharzewski made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Krzysztof Pozorski sent off a good shot on target. Zula Zacharzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pryputnicki in the 42nd minute of play. Daniel Pryputnicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Zula Zacharzewski made a huge save. Gerardo Pugliese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Roch Matela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half GKS Górnik Łęczna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Pryputnicki made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Lopez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roch Matela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roch Matela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Lopez in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, KS Karkonosze 1953's Antara Bal got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, KS Karkonosze 1953's Roch Matela got control of the ball when Amador Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Andrzej Moryl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Karkonosze 1953's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Górnik Łęczna the free kick. Andrzej Moryl hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Krzysztof Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Karkonosze 1953's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Pozorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerardo Pugliese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GKS Górnik Łęczna booed when KS Karkonosze 1953 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Moryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Lopez in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roch Matela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd match minute, KS Karkonosze 1953 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antara Bal to maneuver through the defense. GKS Górnik Łęczna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
