Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bernard Czarnecki started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richnau's goalkeeper Aureliusz Andrysiak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Miromir Hendzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Szpakowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Witomir Lemiesz. Southampton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Walery Jaszyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Wawrzyniec Niemoj kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliusz Andrysiak. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Witomir Bochinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aureliusz Andrysiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Niemoj, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Wawrzyniec Pryputnicki fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southampton FC's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Pryputnicki a yellow card for diving instead. Richnau's Aureliusz Andrysiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Niemoj in the 36th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Penkalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Lemiesz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Setara went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Borys Piczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Richnau were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wlodzimierz Penkalski made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Southampton FC's goalkeeper Witomir Lemiesz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Piczak. In the 53rd match minute, Southampton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Jaszyna to maneuver through the defense. If Wawrzyniec Niemoj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hieronim Cichewski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Southampton FC's Alfred Miodek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antoni Karp in the 64 minute of the game. Aureliusz Andrysiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Jaszyna in the 66th minute of the match. Richnau's Aureliusz Andrysiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Bochinski in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Southampton FC's Walery Jaszyna got a free kick in the 68th minute. Wawrzyniec Niemoj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witomir Lemiesz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Penkalski in the 81st minute of play. Aureliusz Andrysiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Niemoj in the 87th minute of play. Southampton FC's attentive Lech Treppa managed to snatch the ball when Zbigniew Wojtyna made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Wincent Wnukowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Southampton FC's Witomir Bochinski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Witomir Bochinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aureliusz Andrysiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Witomir Bochinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Jaszyna in the 96th minute of play forced Richnau's goalkeeper Aureliusz Andrysiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Lemiesz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Penkalski in the 97th minute of play. Chants of Richnau echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Southampton FC had held the ball for most of the match.
