In the 14th minute, Górnik Zabrze's Damazy Rakiewicz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Damazy Rakiewicz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Górnik Zabrze protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damazy Rakiewicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 14 minutes into the game, one of Górnik Zabrze:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, The Gunners's Válter Otsus got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Grzegorz Piechocki. Maksymilian Jaraczeski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Cristo Quin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of The Gunners's Maksymilian Jaraczeski. Maksymilian Jaraczeski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes of play, The Gunners's Augustin Ljuština made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maksymilian Jaraczeski made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristo Quin sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, The Gunners's Augustin Ljuština nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grzegorz Piechocki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Pisarczyk in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grzegorz Piechocki saved Górnik Zabrze from getting behind. After a rather tough play, The Gunners's Zenon Pisarczyk got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes The Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Pisarczyk. In the 72nd minute, Górnik Zabrze's Cristo Quin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maksymilian Jaraczeski. Maksymilian Jaraczeski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. In the 76th minute, Válter Otsus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. 79 minutes into the match, Górnik Zabrze's Pankracy Niewiadomski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maksymilian Jaraczeski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Piechocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Ljuština in the 81st minute of play. Grzegorz Piechocki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Otsus went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. The Gunners's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
