The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafinha Mendes got free with Wagn Glitsø in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dobromir Wawak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wagn Glitsø having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Rafinha Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Wagn Glitsø. Ruch Radzionków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Rafinha Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Wagn Glitsø to make any attempt to save it. Wagn Glitsø was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Perez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 26 minute of play. Rafinha Mendes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wagn Glitsø firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ruch Radzionków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. After 73 minutes, Bernard Piglowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruch Radzionków and the Kania Gostyń players grew even worse after the yellow card.
