After a defensive mix-up in Boguciczanka Katowice's zone, Dobromir Wallach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Sidorowicz came out of the goal and Dobromir Wallach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezary Rakoski took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damazy Sidorowicz. Damazy Sidorowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Boguciczanka Katowice's zone, Dobromir Wallach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Sidorowicz came out of the goal and Dobromir Wallach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radomil Marajda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Franciszek Niedzwiecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdzislaw Biraga kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Dobromir Wallach made a precise shot to the right of Damazy Sidorowicz. Boguciczanka Katowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Radomil Marajda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boguciczanka Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Marajda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Niedzwiecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Slawomir Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cezary Rakoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdzislaw Biraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Niedzwiecki having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Pieczyski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Arendarski to maneuver through the defense. Slawomir Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Franciszek Niedzwiecki made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dobromir Wallach to make the kick off. In the 60th match minute, Boguciczanka Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Soszka to maneuver through the defense. Franciszek Niedzwiecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Pieczyski got a freekick which was hit by Lech Jazowski. If Slawomir Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Radomil Marajda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Pieczyski got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Arendarski. When Slawomir Major came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Boguciczanka Katowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Major couldn't finish the play. Franciszek Niedzwiecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Pieczyski got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Arendarski. After having played for 94 minutes, Dobromir Wallach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pieczyski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobromir Wallach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
