Spectators: 7057 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) GKS Zaspa's Leonard Jucha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonard Jucha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Zbyszko Paciuszko made a huge save. Leonard Jucha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Zbyszko Paciuszko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zenon Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Wallach in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Cyprian Wallach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Maziarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenon Maziarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Andrysiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, GKS Zaspa's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Wallach came free, but Zenon Maziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Łaziska's goalkeeper Zbyszko Paciuszko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GKS Zaspa's Zenon Maziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Wallach in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Edward Andrysiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Maziarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Paciuszko made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Leonard Jucha sent off a good shot on target. Zenon Maziarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Kilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GKS Zaspa booed when KS Łaziska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Dlugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Maziarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Wallach in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, KS Łaziska's Cyprian Wallach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenon Maziarz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Bogumil Januszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zbyszko Paciuszko. KS Łaziska's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogumil Januszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyprian Wallach made a kick off. Zenon Maziarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Dziuma in the 52nd minute of play. Edward Andrysiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Maziarz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Ryszard Bronder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes KS Łaziska got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Wallach. In the 63rd play minute Edward Andrysiak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zenon Maziarz. 1-2. Zenon Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Wallach in the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Leonard Jucha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, KS Łaziska's Cyprian Wallach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Maziarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Andrysiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Maziarz having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Cyprian Wallach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zenon Maziarz. Cyprian Wallach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Edward Andrysiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Zenon Maziarz made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Zaspa's zone, Stasio Chazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Maziarz came out of the goal and Stasio Chazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezary Pisarcik's late challenge caught a KS Łaziska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Pisarcik helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes GKS Zaspa got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Pisarcik. Zenon Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Andrysiak in the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of GKS Zaspa booed when KS Łaziska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Ankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
