The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Marcin Majusiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Makolno and the Football Club Mysłowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Makolno! Football Club Mysłowice's Norbert Dyczkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Dabrowski in the 9th minute of play. Dominik Tarasek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Witold Wnukowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaw Dabrowski in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Dyczkowski saved Football Club Mysłowice from getting behind. Makolno's Boruc Walaszkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Sebastian Dziewulski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Dyczkowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gustaw Dabrowski sped through Football Club Mysłowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Dyczkowski. 37 minutes into the game, Porfiro Checa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Football Club Mysłowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makolno the free kick. In the 37th minute, Porfiro Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Makolno fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Makolno's Gustaw Dabrowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Norbert Dyczkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Dabrowski in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Tarasek was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Football Club Mysłowice getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Edgar Matela hit a great ball. In the 54th play minute Gustaw Dabrowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norbert Dyczkowski. 0-3. Makolno's Witold Wnukowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Tarasek in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Grucza got free with Norbert Dyczkowski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Matela hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dominik Tarasek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Makolno's Witold Wnukowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Matela in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gustaw Dabrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Makolno's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Dabrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Dyczkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Tarasek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Dyczkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaw Dabrowski's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When Boruc Walaszkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Makolno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Walaszkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Chants of Makolno echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Football Club Mysłowice had held the ball for most of the match.
