Ksawery Klimkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lech Zgonina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biała Gwiazda -KRK's Lech Zgonina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Kaminski in the 42nd minute of play. Lubiny's Tanek Kaminski got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ksawery Klimkiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Szczepan Bronkala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Edward Lisewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrzej Dec was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Edward Lisewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Biała Gwiazda -KRK's Mikolaj Knopek got a free kick in the 74th minute. Biała Gwiazda -KRK's Lech Zgonina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Biała Gwiazda -KRK from getting a goal against them. If Krzysztof Falke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanek Kaminski got free with Lech Zgonina in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Lisewski scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrzej Dec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ksawery Klimkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Falke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biała Gwiazda -KRK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lubiny the free kick. Krzysztof Falke hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
