Leszek Kaczucha kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Gronie Tychy's goalkeeper Bogdan Tepper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Golec. A collision led to Gronie Tychy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Andrychowski got free with Bogdan Tepper in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Gronie Tychy booed when DETOX MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Jaszyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ziemowit Andrychowski to make the kick off. Bogdan Tepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Golec, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
