A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaroslaw Pozorski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Smolak. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Michal Markowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Markowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafal Klewinski during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafal Klewinski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. FC Drewno's Jacek Setara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Dzierwa in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC Drewno's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Dzierwa came free, but Jacek Setara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Markowski in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Setara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jaroslaw Pozorski came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Drewno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaroslaw Pozorski couldn't finish the play. Jacek Setara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Markowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Boguslaw Dzierwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Drewno's Fabian Borowski got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jacek Setara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Markowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Michal Markowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Damian Leper made the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Rafal Klewinski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rafal Klewinski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Tanowo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Drewno:s goal. Artur Orling took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbyszko Smolak. Tanowo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Igor Chmelyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jacek Setara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Jaroslaw Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Drewno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Pozorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Tanowo's Michal Markowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Michal Markowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jacek Setara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tanowo's Michal Markowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacek Setara. That made the score 4-3 after 89 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Drewno's zone, Igor Chmelyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Setara came out of the goal and Igor Chmelyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Pozorski in the 96th minute of play forced Tanowo's goalkeeper Zbyszko Smolak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Drewno had won after a very even match.
