Dybowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dawid Rydzyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boguslaw Dziechciowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Giec stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Waclaw Gdaniec. 0-2. If Gilbert Matela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Dybowen's Gilbert Matela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waclaw Gdaniec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witold Michnik during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Witold Michnik kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Boguslaw Dziechciowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Sebastian Banach to make any attempt to save it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
