Spectators: 7040 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 130) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Radoslaw Sienkiewicz kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna defense, Wit Bator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waclaw Gendolla. The Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waclaw Gendolla should have stopped the shot. Radowit Miazga's late challenge caught a Ottawa Senators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Miazga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Miazga to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Adamski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottawa Senators the free kick. In the 14th minute, Boleslaw Adamski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ottawa Senators fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Ottawa Senators's Wit Bator looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wit Bator in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Gendolla saved Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna from getting behind. After 25 minutes of play Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's Boleslaw Adamski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Ottawa Senators booed when Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Adamski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Wlodyga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Waclaw Gendolla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Wit Bator sped through Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waclaw Gendolla. After the first half Ottawa Senators were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ottawa Senators made a substitution. Cyprian Czech replaced Jakub Milan. Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's Waclaw Gendolla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Soszka in the 56th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Wit Bator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's Waclaw Gendolla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Edmund Pietrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottawa Senators's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Pietrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waclaw Gendolla had great luck who in the 60thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wit Bator from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Bator got free with Waclaw Gendolla in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kryspin Raschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kacper Dudzik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyprian Czech kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Zbigniew Walaszkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Gendolla having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Herbert Grucza in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grom Skarżysko-Kamienna's Gwidon Poreda. After some careless play in the Ottawa Senators defense, Kryspin Raschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kacper Dudzik. The Ottawa Senators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kacper Dudzik should have stopped the shot. Radoslaw Sienkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ottawa Senators eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
