But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Bartochowski couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! ! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Bronicki to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Dobromir Kiewra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zawoje SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobromir Kiewra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krzysztof Poteralski charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krzysztof Poteralski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iwo Bartochowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Pankowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Jaworski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! !'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zawoje SA the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobromir Kiewra in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Pankowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaroslaw Kapinos, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dobromir Kiewra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Pankowski having to interfere. Iwo Bartochowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Pankowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute Dobromir Kiewra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Pankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wojciech Cieliczka fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zawoje SA's protests and gave Wojciech Cieliczka a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zawoje SA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Wojciech Cieliczka hit a great ball. After 70 minutes, Artur Budarz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! ! and the Zawoje SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! !'s Artur Budarz got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! ! defense, Iwo Bartochowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Pankowski. The ! ! ! SPS PSZCZYNA ! ! ! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Pankowski should have stopped the shot.
