The coaching staff of Corporation Umbrella protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Julian Fiszer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, Makolno's Edward Jastrowicz got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Chodzinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Walery Dyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Quattrocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Rasialdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
