In the 3rd minute, Aureliusz Kopacz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes Karwice SSA got a freekick which was hit by Marian Fetor. Karwice SSA's Aleksander Fabiszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Gmoch in the 11th minute of play. Ryszard Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Fabiszak having to interfere. Lucjan Kosowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Gendolla in the 17th minute of the match. Lucjan Kosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Mudry in the 22nd minute of play. Karwice SSA's Adam Gendolla got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zbyszko Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Fabiszak having to interfere. Adam Gendolla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucjan Kosowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Marian Fetor's late challenge caught a Wodniki SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Fetor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Karwice SSA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marian Fetor hit a great ball. If Ryszard Gmoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Fabiszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Gmoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Lucjan Kosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Gendolla in the 53rd minute of play. Zbyszko Dziura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Zbyszko Dziura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wodniki SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszko Dziura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Gendolla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Mudry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Mudry hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Aleksander Fabiszak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Gmoch's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ryszard Gmoch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Fabiszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Wincent Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wodniki SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Pionek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Dziura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksander Fabiszak. Karwice SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszko Dziura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Karwice SSA booed when Wodniki SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Cwynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam Gendolla came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Karwice SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Gendolla couldn't finish the play. Wodniki SA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
