The supporters of Władek booed when Polonia Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Grocholski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Domeracki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korneliusz Wlodyga went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Władek getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Korneliusz Wlodyga hit a great ball. Ulryk Gongola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ksawery Jarocewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zygmunt Kisiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Władek's Zygmunt Kisiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Gongola in the 21st minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Ksawery Jarocewicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Gongola in the 35th minute of play forced Władek's goalkeeper Zygmunt Kisiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Gongola scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Kisiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zygmunt Kisiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Grocholski in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulryk Gongola made a kick off. The supporters of Władek booed when Polonia Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Grocholski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Zbigniew Wierzbicki put in a rough tackle. In the 59th match minute, Władek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Wierzbicki to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Ulryk Gongola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Zygmunt Kisiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulryk Gongola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zygmunt Kisiel. That made the score 1-6 in the 73 minute of play. Korneliusz Wlodyga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes in the game Waclaw Marosz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Radowit Gonsiewski. Bernard Dlugi made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aleksander Grocholski however managed to control. Radoslaw Ciborek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasz Domeracki having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Polonia Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Ciborek came free, but Tomasz Domeracki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Gongola got free with Zygmunt Kisiel in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Polonia Bytom's Wincent Giertych ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zygmunt Kisiel. Zygmunt Kisiel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Polonia Bytom's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
