The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, FC Ryju's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Juroszek came free, but Walery Sliwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, FC Ryju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Walec to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, FC Ryju's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Gibowski came free, but Walery Sliwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Ryju defense, Hugon Rzentkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walery Sliwinski. The FC Ryju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walery Sliwinski should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Eagle Eyas FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cezary Liermann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Pochorylo in the 14th minute of play forced FC Ryju's goalkeeper Walery Sliwinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eagle Eyas FC's zone, Wieslaw Olchowy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Adamowicz came out of the goal and Wieslaw Olchowy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Tomasz Kajder suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Wojciech Juroszek charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wojciech Juroszek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Eagle Eyas FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Wojciech Juroszek hit a great ball. With a little luck, Eagle Eyas FC's Edgar Adamowicz got control of the ball when Wieslaw Olchowy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Ryju booed when Eagle Eyas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Gibowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wieslaw Olchowy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wieslaw Olchowy took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Adamowicz. Edgar Adamowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Eagle Eyas FC's zone, Zbyszek Czeszyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Adamowicz came out of the goal and Zbyszek Czeszyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walery Sliwinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Rzentkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The throw-in from Cezary Liermann in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Ryju's Zbyszek Czeszyk. After the first half Eagle Eyas FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wieslaw Olchowy made a kick off. When Wojciech Juroszek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. If Wieslaw Olchowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roch Gibowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Sliwinski having to interfere. FC Ryju's Wieslaw Olchowy got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszek Czeszyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miromir Zahemski came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Ryju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Zahemski couldn't finish the play. Wieslaw Olchowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Edgar Adamowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugon Rzentkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, FC Ryju's Wieslaw Olchowy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Adamowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zbyszek Czeszyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Cezary Liermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagle Eyas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Liermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roch Gibowski came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Eagle Eyas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Gibowski couldn't finish the play. Walery Sliwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Gibowski in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eagle Eyas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
