The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Karol Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zofjówka SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Laba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Zbydniewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florian Miecznikowski didn't quite understand what happened when in the 41 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Karol Laba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacy Majorski made a kick off. When Jacek Owsiak fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zofjówka SSA's protests and gave Jacek Owsiak a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Zofjówka SSA got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Owsiak. With a little luck, Zofjówka SSA's Rafal Nieruchliwy got control of the ball when Bogumil Marud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roman Zbydniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Laba in the 59th minute of the match. Zofjówka SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hieronim Pietrowiak in the 61st minute. The corner led Zofjówka SSA's Hieronim Pietrowiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Zbydniewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ignacy Majorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. When Ignacy Majorski came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Zofjówka SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacy Majorski couldn't finish the play. Bogumil Marud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafal Nieruchliwy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
