Lucjan Deput came out of the goal and Alfred Zyskowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Walery Ligas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bogumil Penc fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ułani Lublin LC's protests and gave Bogumil Penc a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ułani Lublin LC's Alfred Zyskowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucjan Deput. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play. The Ułani Lublin LC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ułani Lublin LC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
