The audience held their breath when Stefan Tarka in the 26th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Radoslaw Borcz's left hand side. Bartlomiej Bronicki hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gorliczyna SSA's Tymoteusz Bentkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Lenertej in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 91st minute, Edmund Puzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Husaria Poznań's goalkeeper Radoslaw Borcz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Puzio.
