Eugeniusz Cieslak kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Zula Zgonina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fryderyk Trojanowski skillfully saved the ball. Olaf Gacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Trojanowski having to interfere. Cyryl Kanczuszewski struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bernard Okopny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katowicka FANS. Olaf Gacki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fryderyk Trojanowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Katowicka FANS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eugeniusz Cieslak hit a great ball. Olaf Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fryderyk Trojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Okopny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Ludwiczak in the 24th minute of the match. A hard shot by Roman Gardocki from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Bernard Okopny's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 31st minute Przemyslaw Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Okopny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Cyryl Kanczuszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katowicka FANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Kanczuszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Kopacze's goalkeeper Bernard Okopny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyryl Kanczuszewski. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, Katowicka FANS's Fryderyk Trojanowski got control of the ball when Ziemowit Cerocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lucjan Pryputnicki fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kopacze's protests and gave Lucjan Pryputnicki a yellow card for diving instead. Przemyslaw Ludwiczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Kopacze got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Pryputnicki. Bernard Okopny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ludwiczak in the 70th minute of play. Katowicka FANS's Przemyslaw Ludwiczak got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ziemowit Cerocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Trojanowski having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Katowicka FANS's goalkeeper Fryderyk Trojanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olaf Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fryderyk Trojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Katowicka FANS! Fryderyk Trojanowski had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Zula Zgonina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zula Zgonina took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fryderyk Trojanowski. Fryderyk Trojanowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kopacze's Olaf Gacki got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ziemowit Cerocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fryderyk Trojanowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Katowicka FANS's Cyryl Kanczuszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Okopny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Katowicka FANS's Eugeniusz Cieslak got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
