In the 4th minute Mateusz Brataniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Cempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janusz Nocny who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Jurand Cempa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Janusz Nocny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Lichorobiec in the 12th minute of play forced KS Staszów 09's goalkeeper Jurand Cempa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes KS Staszów 09 got a freekick which was hit by Roland Pankiewicz. Mateusz Brataniec might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurand Cempa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateusz Brataniec ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mateusz Brataniec came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Orkan Rumia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateusz Brataniec couldn't finish the play. Jurand Cempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Nocny, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witold Dropinski during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Orkan Rumia booed when KS Staszów 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Dropinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Czempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Herbert Mitus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Orkan Rumia's Janusz Nocny seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Janusz Nocny the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Orkan Rumia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Janusz Nocny had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave KS Staszów 09 a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Witomir Przybyciel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orkan Rumia's Herbert Mitus. 0-2. Stefan Zurawski struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jurand Cempa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orkan Rumia. Roland Pankiewicz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Herbert Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Pankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But to his dismay, Mateusz Brataniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mateusz Brataniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Cempa having to interfere. If Mateusz Brataniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Orkan Rumia's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Czempa came free, but Herbert Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Sebzda couldn't finish the play. Herbert Mitus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Cebula in the 69th minute. Jurand Cempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Lichorobiec in the 71st minute of play. Herbert Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Lichorobiec kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Orkan Rumia getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stefan Zurawski hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, KS Staszów 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Pankiewicz to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes, Artur Lichorobiec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orkan Rumia and the KS Staszów 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Orkan Rumia's Artur Lichorobiec got a free kick in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Orkan Rumia's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Czempa came free, but Herbert Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurand Cempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Lichorobiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkan Rumia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
