The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogumil Ruzicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ks.Sobieski's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Zworski came free, but Fabian Beninda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bogumil Ruzicki came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ks.Sobieski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Ruzicki couldn't finish the play. Cezary Zworski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Beninda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Zworski in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Zbyszek Buda suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Ks.Sobieski getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jakub Haskiewicz hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, LKS Pogoń Lwów's Iwan Gargasz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Szczepan Marosz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Beninda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Marosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ks.Sobieski's zone, Zdzislaw Moryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Beninda came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Moryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Ks.Sobieski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Ledochowski to maneuver through the defense. When Szczepan Marosz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the LKS Pogoń Lwów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szczepan Marosz couldn't finish the play. Stanislaw Ciupierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fabian Beninda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szczepan Marosz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Beninda having to make a save. LKS Pogoń Lwów's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
