When Jurand Tarasek fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fanatic's protests and gave Jurand Tarasek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Jurand Tarasek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wincent Wolicki came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Montwitz SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincent Wolicki couldn't finish the play. Jurand Tarasek was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Fanatic getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jurand Tarasek hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Pankracy Augustyn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Gieraltowski skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montwitz SA's goalkeeper Maciej Lichucki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borys Ramzinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Lichucki having to interfere. Maciej Lichucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Piszczor, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Piszczor in the 38th minute of play forced Montwitz SA's goalkeeper Maciej Lichucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mieszko Piszczor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Lichucki having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Igor Konieczny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Gieraltowski was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Konieczny was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Fanatic defense, Miromir Plachetka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Gieraltowski. The Fanatic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Gieraltowski should have stopped the shot. Iwan Gieraltowski came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Montwitz SA's Miromir Plachetka. But to his dismay, Miromir Plachetka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Montwitz SA's Igor Konieczny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Gieraltowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugon Degutis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanatic's Iwan Gieraltowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Konieczny in the 70th minute of play. Iwan Gieraltowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Konieczny in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Montwitz SA booed when Fanatic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Wincent Wolicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Gieraltowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montwitz SA's Wincent Wolicki got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wincent Wolicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Montwitz SA booed when Fanatic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Degutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mieszko Piszczor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montwitz SA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
