In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind XTEAM Zabrze's goalkeeper Walery Penkalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Zapady fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in XTEAM Zabrze's zone, Florian Polek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Penkalski came out of the goal and Florian Polek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 minutes of play, XTEAM Zabrze's Lucjan Purzycki made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Marek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walery Penkalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz sped through XTEAM Zabrze's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walery Penkalski. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Jakub Traczewski made the kick off in the second half. Tadeusz Wojtkiewicz in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walery Penkalski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. XTEAM Zabrze's Walery Penkalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save XTEAM Zabrze from getting a goal against them. The XTEAM Zabrze players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
