Aleksander Czerniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Nigbor having to interfere. Judo Team Bydgoszcz's Jaroslaw Panikowski got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Izydor Wiatrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Olchawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Izydor Wiatrak notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Judo Team Bydgoszcz's Zbigniew Olchawa. Zbigniew Olchawa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aleksander Dziewulski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Judo Team Bydgoszcz booed when Skaszyn SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Sidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Judo Team Bydgoszcz's Leonard Purzycki tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Aleksander Czerniak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juliusz Nigbor. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Zbigniew Olchawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Damazy Golob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Judo Team Bydgoszcz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skaszyn SSA the free kick. A collision led to Judo Team Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Damazy Golob hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Judo Team Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Wiatrak came free, but Zbigniew Olchawa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Rybak to strike the kick off in the second half. When Florian Rybak came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Skaszyn SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Rybak couldn't finish the play. Zbigniew Olchawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Rybak in the 57th minute of play. Izydor Wiatrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Florian Rybak took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Zbigniew Olchawa to make any attempt to save it. Skaszyn SSA's Izydor Wiatrak got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbigniew Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Skaszyn SSA's Hugon Filipkowski got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Jaroslaw Panikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Nigbor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Olchawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Rybak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aleksander Czerniak struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Juliusz Nigbor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Judo Team Bydgoszcz. Florian Rybak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Olchawa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jaroslaw Panikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Juliusz Nigbor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jaroslaw Panikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
