The crowd rose to their feet as Łódzki Klub Sportowy's Janusz Nocny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wasyl Poteralski. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
