Rusy's Iwo Zawadzki got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Rusy's Iwo Zawadzki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janusz Motowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aleksander Fafinski didn't quite understand what happened when in the 32 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Aleksander Kajder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rusy's Czeslaw Majerowicz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Janusz Motowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Waldoch in the 46th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Waldoch was the one to do the kick off. Rusy's Teofil Waldoch was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Teofil Waldoch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rusy's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofil Waldoch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Motowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Walkowski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksander Kajder saved Rusy from getting behind. Atletico Madryt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Iwo Zawadzki scored to the left of an out of position Janusz Motowski, making the score, 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Iwo Zawadzki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Madryt's zone, Teofil Waldoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janusz Motowski came out of the goal and Teofil Waldoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariusz Madajczyk hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Aleksander Fafinski, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Teofil Waldoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Teofil Waldoch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Janusz Motowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute, Emil Dziurowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
