The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Zbyszek Birkenhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puszków and the Heubuden SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zbyszek Birkenhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Benedykt Rzegotka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heubuden SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Rzegotka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adam Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Zbyszek Birkenhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Mentis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adam Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincenty Waldoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Adam Kornatowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puszków fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Damian Mentis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Szarmach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Heubuden SSA's zone, Damian Mentis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Szarmach came out of the goal and Damian Mentis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adam Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adam Kornatowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Szarmach having to interfere. The supporters of Heubuden SSA booed when Puszków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Mentis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Damian Mentis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Puszków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Mentis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milosz Jaraczewski during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Heubuden SSA's Cezary Purzycki couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Puszków. 69 minutes into the match, Damian Mentis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Heubuden SSA's Antoni Szarmach. Antoni Szarmach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
