Pks Poznań's Pawel Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Nieruchliwy in the 37th minute of play. Bernard Dulka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jedrzej Naujasodis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Dulka to make the kick off. Waclaw Major took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jedrzej Naujasodis. Jedrzej Naujasodis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Setara in the 73rd minute of play forced Pks Poznań's goalkeeper Pawel Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Pks Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Nieruchliwy came free, but Pawel Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
