The Samter fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Samter's Slawomir Makarewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ziemowit Haskiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Franciszek Ostrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Haskiewicz in the 18th minute of play forced Motor Lublin's goalkeeper Franciszek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Motor Lublin's Roland Zielinski got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Samter's Slawomir Makarewicz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motor Lublin's goalie prevented a goal. When Roland Zielinski fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motor Lublin's protests and gave Roland Zielinski a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Motor Lublin got a freekick which was hit by Roland Zielinski. In the 27th minute of the match Zachary Chwalkiewicz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franciszek Ostrowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Slawomir Makarewicz's late challenge caught a Motor Lublin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slawomir Makarewicz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Motor Lublin's Marek Pietras got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ziemowit Haskiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Samter got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Laba. After the first half Samter were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hieronim Plucinik made the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Haskiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Motor Lublin's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Makarewicz came free, but Franciszek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motor Lublin's Franciszek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Makarewicz in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Ziemowit Haskiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Haskiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Slawomir Makarewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samter's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Makarewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Ostrowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ziemowit Haskiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Motor Lublin's Roland Zielinski got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Roland Zielinski off the ground. After a rather tough play, Motor Lublin's Roland Zielinski got a free kick in the 94th minute.
