The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miroslaw Fujara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Marut having to interfere. Miroslaw Fujara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kajetan Gondek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gilbert Charamut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Szczepan Mondrowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pieczyski SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Griesen the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Pieczyski SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Mondrowski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Wydrych in the 15th minute of play forced Pieczyski SA's goalkeeper Hieronim Marut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Marut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Wydrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula Czysta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gilbert Charamut made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tanek Wydrych made a kick off. Griesen's Tanek Wydrych got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Pieczyski SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Dula to maneuver through the defense. If Szczepan Mondrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Orling kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gilbert Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Mondrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Griesen's Gilbert Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Mondrowski in the 79th minute of play. Szczepan Mondrowski scored 2-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Charamut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Pieczyski SA got a corner. Griesen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jurand Majtyka ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gilbert Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Gondek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Edmund Niemojewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajetan Gondek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Charamut having to interfere. Griesen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
