Samsieczynek were furious when Franciszek Marchewka was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of MKS Piast Piastów booed when Samsieczynek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Marchewka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Krzysztof Nieruchliwy in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartlomiej Majerowicz to make the kick off. Dominik Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Majerowicz in the 54th minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Bartlomiej Majerowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Dobromir Hajder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samsieczynek and the MKS Piast Piastów players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dobromir Hajder hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Dominik Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Pinczewski in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Bartlomiej Majerowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Fleszar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Samsieczynek's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
