Edward Petka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th minute, Ryszard Dzierwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerzy Pietrowiak charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerzy Pietrowiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerzy Pietrowiak hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Mirowice SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Dzierwa came free, but Edward Petka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Kopalino's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Trzemzalski came free, but Tadeusz Piatek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Piatek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Pleban in the 28th minute. After 28 played minutes Kopalino got a freekick which was hit by Damian Buczak. 30 minutes into the match, Ksawery Pleban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Piatek. Kopalino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ksawery Pleban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mirowice SSA's Pankracy Cwynar got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kopalino's Ryszard Dzierwa got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Ksawery Pleban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeusz Piatek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Iwo Trzemzalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwo Trzemzalski during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kopalino booed when Mirowice SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Trzemzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Ryszard Dzierwa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kopalino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Dzierwa made a kick off. Edward Petka made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ludomil Ferfecki sent off a good shot on target. Witold Biraga hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, one of Kopalino:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomil Ferfecki got free with Edward Petka in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Ksawery Pleban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Teobald Cichocki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kopalino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mirowice SSA the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Kopalino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Cichocki to maneuver through the defense. Ksawery Pleban struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tadeusz Piatek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirowice SSA. In the 85th minute Ksawery Pleban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Piatek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes Kopalino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Izydor Paciuszko who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Pankracy Cwynar to score against Tadeusz Piatek in Kopalino's goal. 4-2 after 88 minutes. Ryszard Dzierwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Edward Petka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
