In the 20th minute, Mariusz Kolbe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wieslaw Witwicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in ks gorczyn's zone, Jakub Wieloch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Bronkala came out of the goal and Jakub Wieloch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juliusz Bronkala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Wieloch's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Juliusz Bronkala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Wieloch went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 35 in the game by Witomir Serwacki from a close distance when the talented Juliusz Bronkala managed to make a qualified save. ks gorczyn's players were relieved. Jakub Wieloch struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Juliusz Bronkala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kosmos. ks gorczyn's Juliusz Bronkala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ks gorczyn from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Zjawin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ks gorczyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kosmos the free kick. Wieslaw Witwicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Kolbe in the 44th minute of play. Stasio Rukszcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Kolbe to make the kick off.
