The audience held their breath when Grzegorz Burufski in the 47th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fabian Bara's left hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Płomień Słońce's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juliusz Golob fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Grzegorz Burufski's late challenge caught a Płomień Słońce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Golob in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Juliusz Golob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Promnice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliusz Golob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Stasio Drugi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Płomień Słońce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Promnice the free kick. After 69 played minutes Płomień Słońce got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Drugi. Hieronim Czeszyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wlodzimierz Lewkowicz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Golob in the 77th minute of play forced Płomień Słońce's goalkeeper Fabian Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Drugi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Juliusz Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Bara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Czeszyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Lewkowicz having to interfere. Promnice's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
