An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Zgonina in the 29th minute of play forced AC Cicha Olsztyn's goalkeeper Adam Kiewra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Walery Golob managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Cicha Olsztyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Golob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Babicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radomil Babicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Domin in the 55th minute of play. AC Cicha Olsztyn's Adam Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladyslaw Rostow in the 58th minute of play. When Walery Golob fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Cicha Olsztyn's protests and gave Walery Golob a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of K.S Grom Olkusz booed when AC Cicha Olsztyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Golob didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, K.S Grom Olkusz's Bogumil Siwek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Adam Kiewra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Zgonina in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the game, AC Cicha Olsztyn's Janusz Watarz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. K.S Grom Olkusz succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AC Cicha Olsztyn had controlled the match.
